Severe rainfall, overflowing rivers and cyclone-related flooding have brought immense hardship to communities across Odisha. Families have watched floodwaters enter their homes, destroy their belongings, damage their livelihoods and disrupt their everyday lives.

For many families, the immediate challenge is finding safe shelter, clean drinking water, nutritious food and essential medical assistance.

According to reports published on October 31, 2026, more than 1.05 lakh people were affected across all 22 blocks of Ganjam district. The district administration opened 367 relief camps and provided cooked meals to approximately 56,051 people.

Behind these figures are real families, children, elderly people, women and daily-wage workers who are struggling to recover from this disaster.

Through the Odisha Flood Relief 2026 campaign, TrueKinds Foundation aims to raise ₹1,00,000 to support vulnerable flood-affected families through emergency relief and essential supplies.

Our priority is to identify families with urgent needs and provide assistance based on verified local assessments and available resources.

How We Plan to Help

1. Food & Essential Rations: Distribution of rice, pulses, edible oil, salt, packaged food and other essential grocery items.
2. Clean Drinking Water: Safe drinking water, water purification supplies and hygiene essentials.
3. Medical & Health Support: Basic first-aid materials, ORS, essential healthcare supplies and referrals to appropriate medical services.
4. Clothing & Family Essentials: Basic clothing, blankets, sanitary products and essential household items.
5. Temporary Shelter Support: Tarpaulins, bedding and other essential materials for families whose homes have been damaged.
6. Children & Vulnerable Families: Special attention to children, elderly people, persons with disabilities and families facing extreme hardship.
